Liu Zi Jue, The Six Healing Sounds.

“One has only one way for inhalation but six for exhalation”
Tau Hongjing of the Southern and Northern Dynasties (420 – 589)
Beginning with breathing exercises and taiji walking to explore our sense of physical and spiritual balance, we learn six simple moves and their accompanying vibrating sound, which focus on the five organs of the body and the triple heater meridian.
This traditional health and fitness practice uses the exhalation of breath to cause vibrations which regulate and control the rise and fall of Qi (vital energy) inside the body through six different sounds. These affect the five organs, the liver, heart, spleen, lungs and kidneys and the triple heater, which balances all the energy systems. The exercises feature slow, gentle, extended and graceful movements and are suitable for people of all ages and conditions of health.
Suitable for Beginners.

Next workshop(s) on the 6 Healing Sounds will be during the Scotland’s Wild Medicine Festival in Tarbert 12th – 14th April. Hope to see you there.
